The Benziger Model is based on the theories of Dr. Carl Gustav Jung and is intended to assist people enhance their effectiveness, collaboration skills, and overall well-being by giving them a greater understanding of their own strengths.
Identifying a person's dominant type of thinking allows him or her to be more productive in areas where one is naturally more efficient. This allows the person to excel in his or her profession or activities in a more fluid and natural manner.
We all have innate abilities and skills that we refer to as gifts. When we use them correctly, we feel good and enter a state of "flowing" by squeezing our being's identity to its fullest.
On the contrary, when we do not employ our natural competences, we experience a "type deviation" or "type falsification," which is equivalent to adopting a way of thinking that is contrary to our natural identity. As a result, there may be emotional conflicts, obstructions, tension, misunderstandings in communication, frustration, despair, and so on.
